E-Sports Arena

This studio was about redesigning a typology of space whose ideas are borrowed from 3D scanning tests. The tests were carried by two materials, a dense reflective mesh and a reflective cube. The misreadings generated by the 3D scanning software gave us guided the arrangement and organization of spaces within the Arena Space. This lead us to intertwining the market space with the Arena where the arena started getting scattered and fragmented. All the viewers now had a unique angle to see the arena and players playing the game but they also had a very different experience depending on where they got their seats. The most intriguing part was where we started playing with the qualities the machine’s reading gave us and started applying it into our speculative study of the machine vision.
